A long time artist turned web designer, I have seen the internet grow from static, bland pages, to visually stunning, compelling design solutions to marketing needs. I am challenging standard strategies in layout, content and graphic style. My goal is to make each individual site intriguing and informative enough to keep visitors coming back, yet not overwhelm them with aesthetic clutter.
I've studied art my entire life. From classes at Massachusetts College of Art, Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, I have always been passionate about good design. As such, I design my sites by hand. Writing every line of HTML to ensure the fastest and most efficient loading of pages and incorporation of optimized graphics.
It is very important to have a clear vision of what you want to accomplish with every single work. Having a philosophy to rely on and basic principles to achieve keeps my designs consistent. Every element must have a balanced aesthetic that does not increase or decrease it's visual value in relationship to the other elements on the page. From the buttons to the title, everything must be easy to see, not interfere with other design elements and not be given more or less attention that it deserves.
